If there is any traffic on 18.154 Mhz we will be close to that frequency.
Thanks for joining us! We are here on 17 Meters at 18.154 Mhz Sundays at 15:00 UTC and during Daylight Saving Time (DST) we will be on at 16:00 UTC. This net gives those a chance who only have 100 watts and a wire to make DX contacts without the pile ups. But if you have 1500 watts and a beam, feel free to join us. We will be looking for DX outside the USA to take calls. We are looking for more Net Control to help out. Contact Steve or Jeff at below QRZ pages.
Rules For The Net
- Give Net Control a few minutes to round up DX for the net by calling CQ DX.
- When Net Control is ready to make a list of callers, he will ask for the last two letters or numbers of your call sign. ONLY give the last two of your call. If you are DX you too can make contacts, just give the last two call letters of your call when asked.
- Net Control will announce the DX that is on frequency for that round and then begin the list by calling the last two’s for each person to make their calls. Make your call to the DX of your choice with their call and your full call. Try to keep it short, with signal report, location, name and possible weather conditions. When done with call, say “Back To Net”.
- We will use Netlogger, but only to list the DX that is on frequency. Feel free to log in so we know you are there, and AIM will be on so feel free to send questions.
- Stick around after making your call, as you may find other stations you want to call as they will join in during the net. They don’t always show up at the beginning.
